RUCHI PATHELA
Ruchi Pathela is a Managing Director and the Head of Valuations for Global Alternatives at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Ruchi is responsible for establishing, implementing, and ensuring adherence to valuation policies and procedures, and for approving all investment valuations across JPMAM's Global Real Estate, Infrastructure, Transportation, and Private Capital businesses.
Prior to joining JPMAM in 2017, Ruchi was a Director at Altus Group for five years, where she primarily oversaw the J.P. Morgan appraisal management relationship. Ruchi began her career in the valuation advisory group at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998, and subsequently worked in acquisitions and portfolio management at RREEF, in the commercial mortgage group at Bear Stearns, and at Antarctica Capital, a private equity firm that was focused on real estate investment in India.
Ruchi holds an M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a B.S. in Architecture from The Georgia Institute of Technology. She carries the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) and Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) designations and serves on the Board of Directors for the Counselors. Ruchi is also an active member of the NCREIF Valuation Committee.
