The Market Operations Report analyzes NCREIF’s rich collection of property-level operating statistics. It is an interactive comparison of the operating measures of one market compared to the nation. Using charts and tables, it shows a variety of operating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Vacancy, NOI Growth, Expense Ratios and Cap Rates.

Yes, each individual user must have an ID assigned to them with specific access the NCREIF Analytics section of the member area. If you do not have an ID please contact the NCREIF office at info@ncreif.org.
Traditional NCREIF products focus on returns for that specific point in time usually displayed in a data table or spreadsheet. While NCREIF Analytics does have similar data, it takes the data to the next level in turning data into information. The information is often provided in visual charts and additional performance indicators are provided focused around risk, operations, revenue and expense and many others.
NCREIF does offer training for all the NCREIF Analytic Reports, including the Market Operations Report. Training can be on a one on one basis or a larger training can be scheduled for a group of individuals. Most training is done via a web meeting, but in some circumstances onsite training can be organized.
This interactive report allows the user to display three indicators per page analyzing NCREIF rich collection of property-level operating statistics. The KPI’s are grouped together into report collections, which can appear on each page. Currently, seven collections of KPIs are available. The Operations Collection consists of the KPIs: NOI Growth, Cap Rates and Vacancy Rates.
